Wizkid Dragged Into The Gutters For Promoting His Music On June 12. June 12 in Nigeria is a special day for all Nigerians and its inhabitants have concerned citizens have embarked on a protest against the government.
Some Nigerians have hit the road to protest against President, Buhari and his government. Activist and convener of civil society organization, concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, yesterday stated that he will be embarking on a planned protest with his group.
There is a lot of havoc on the streets as it has been reported that police officers have arrested some protesters and also seen in series of videos throwing teargas at harmless protesters. There are a series of videos and photos on the internet that shows situational reports from the grounds.
However, Nigerian artist Wizkid has given himself out to be dragged by some Twitter users after he took to his page to post and promote his song during a protest. Wizkid shared a billboard with his face and captioned it, “#ASuperstarMadeInLagos docuseries now out! Shout out @youtube“.
Displeased by his post, some Nigerians have taken to his comment section to drag him for not participating in the protest via Twitter.
