The standard has been raised once more as Ghanaian Hip Hop maverick Black Sherif teams up with award-winning American-Sudanese rapper and producer Bas on this trending song called “Blood, Sweat and Tears”. The second lead single for Hollywood’s Creed III official motion picture soundtrack features Nigeria’s Grammy-winning act Kel-P. On this powerful Afro-fusion track, the musicians bare their musical weight.
The official soundtrack for CREED III is being executive produced by Dreamville (established by Grammy-winning American rapper J.Cole), Proximity Media (Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis), Outlier Society (Michael B. Jordan), and Executive Music Producer Frank Brim. The third installment of the well-regarded trilogy, which Michael B. Jordan directed, has music by both Dreamville roster musicians and outside musicians.
Black Sherif adopts a soulful demeanor on Blood, Sweat, and Tears, melodically reciting his lines, and Kel-P breaks through with a verse with Yoruba influences. Both artists provide aspirational lyrics on the cathartic instrumental.
