Marcs Joe popularly known as Marckeyz is an Afrobeat, Afropop, and RNB Artiste who hailed from Liberia and is currently based in Accra-Ghana. Marckeyz, who was once a refuge in Ivory Coast and Ghana due to the 15 unbroken years of civil war in Liberia, found solace in singing which has been a path he walked since childhood.
Right from children’s choir to senior choir In churches and together with other young Liberian refugees, he formed a Liberian gospel acapella Male Chorus group called DIVINE MELODY.
Marcs was a former final 12 contestant of one of the prestigious musical reality TV shows here in Ghana dubbed, STARS OF THE FUTURE SEASON 3. That season produced a lot of superstars including the famously gorgeous “Adina Thembi” who then emerged as the winner of the talent contest.

The artiste preaches love through his music. Marckeyz is of a conviction that good music can heal wounds, feed the soul, and help anyone to escape many awful experiences and depressions. Marckeyz is a testimony to how good music can heal wounds and save lives, as he himself experienced the magic touch of good music as a child who was without parents and family in exile struggling to survive among strangers in a foreign land so far away from home.
Since Music is a universal language, Marckeyz saw the Importance of using his voice through music to preach love and bring about positive change. Marckeyz’s message to the world is love, unity, tolerance, and living in peaceful harmony with each other so that humanity can thrive.
He says, “Let Love lead the way. Let’s live in Peace and Harmony with each other regardless of our differences, May our Skin color, Race, Ethnicity, Religion, and Political affiliation not overshadow LOVE and HUMANITY”.
